Spanierman Modern is pleased to announce the opening on October 11, 2007 of Gary Komarin: Mrs. Langdon Afterward, an exhibition and sale of new work by Gary Komarin, in which the artist explores the act of painting as a process resulting in both aesthetic and psychological revelations. Capturing a time caught between recognition and definition, Komarin combines an elemental formal language with the suggestion of ordinary objects, some the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life, and others emanating from his memories and past.
