Spanierman Modern is pleased to announce the opening on October 11, 2012 of Lisa Nankivil: Recent Works. As in her past work, Nankivil uses a reductive format in which bands of color span horizontal or vertical canvases. Yet, unlike the linear structures in color field paintings, her approach is less conceptual than it is sensuous and painterly.
